Well you still did a good job reguardless your artestry is impressive in My humbal opinion. I look forward to your next depiction. And I hope your not to upset when you learn of Loken fate I know I was.
But there are still rumours that Loken could survive in caves of the city together with Ryllanor. But even if he is dead he remains my first favourite Warhammer character. For because of him I began to draw W40 fan-art.
Well its likely he is no more. He was damaged to a point where he is nothing but pulpy mess of himself crushed under a tomb of a collapsed building of Isstvan III and if I was not misstaken Horus ordered anouther firing secion just to be sure everything is annaliated. He has no chance I am afraid. Oh and if you like him honesly he is the steriotypical version of an Astartes for a LOT of characters are exactly like him in the Warhammar 40,000 literature. He is reffered to as the "cookie cutter Marine" look up the blogs sometime it might be interesting for you I know I enjoy it.
How could be become a founding member of the Grey Knights since he's not a Psyker? Also the Grey Knights are relatively unknown where their gene-seed comes from this would be kinda ruin for them since it would imply Horus the Greatest Heretic eva!!! is in fact the primarch of the most loyal chapter ever.
Well first off Lexicanum has been wrong before..... many many many times in the past granted its a decent source I have no other backing that Loken lived he likely died man.... a horrible death as I stated before so its seems like a snowballs chance in hell the dude even could be identified after all that happened. Plus I've not seen anything talking about ANYONE from the The Betrayal at Istvaan III surviving I mean if anyone did means Horus did a shit job which he clearly did not. So uhhh yeah man gotta have better evidence than Lexicanum, till than I hold the view in reserve till better evidence or cannon says otherwise. Not fan fiction or any other random crap on the interwebs.
The grey knights were originally the loyal members of the heritic legions. When they arrived on Terra, the were told the Emperor has plans for them. Because they stayed loyal in the face of Daemons, they became the Grey Knights.
While it is a great image and well done. Graviel Loken of the Luna Wolfs did not look like that from his description his skin was pale and freckled he was balded and was of a broud look not as gaunt. Please do not take this as insulting critisisim.
anyone else think he could still be alive cos even though in galaxy in flames it said he closed his eyes for the last time or summat, it also hinted that some of the other loyalists went to some underground chamber like sual tarvitz.
А у нас в компании до недавнего времени все еще велись споры: подстриженный или длинноволосый. В книге - подстриженный, на арте - длинные волосы. Я его после прочтения "Возвышения Хоруса" представила с длинными волосами. )
The Luna Wolves are my faviorite legion, and I'm so glad they took back that name, even if their is only one Luna Wolf Left, Iacton.
Aint fully sure like, its possible, what with Tarik being dead and all, and the orbatal bombardment landing on his head pretty much, but Ryalnor of the Emperors Children was said by Lucius to have found some underground airhanger, so maybe him and Saul are still alive down there, with Garviel, but I doubt he'll still live. mores the pity
But we can hope some survived down there...I suppose
I don't know much about Tarik's fate. In Wikipedia it was written he was killed by Little Horus. But there are rumours in one of "Horus Heresy" books (I guess after "Galaxy in flames") Garviel saw him in his dream as a bodyguard of Horus. Have you read all released books from this series?
Yeah I read them all, and at the end of "Galaxy in Flames" during the fight between Logan and Abbadon, and with Little Horus and Tarik in says that he uses his sword to dicapitate him. so its kinda certain hes dead
but he did see him in his dream, but that was in the temple and was more of a illusion, with him being a chaos marine and twisted by evil.
There was a discussion between my friends and me about Loken's hair length. As I know later Space-Marines, for examples, Ultramarines are short-haired. But there are some official art where Luna Wolves are long-haired.
This is a bit late, I know, but the book clearly states that he had cropped fair hair. I imagine he was either not one of the 'Sons of Horus' Cthonians mentioned at the beginning, or he was Terran-born.
