The WIP entry for a "family" art-fight on Warhammer fan-art LJ-community. I'm both a bit tired of this eldar's armour and satisfied of a painting process. Eldars' armour is made from wraithbone and this fact makes the work more difficult but also interesting.
The main inspiration for this art is "Warrior Coven" by C. S. Goto. I'm a fan of his Librarian Ashok and I liked very much his eldars - Drykhna and Shariel. And another inspiration is (oh dear, dear...) "The Black Legend" theme by Immediate Music. Jack Sparrow and Eldar Exarch... why not? |
